“Piano Piéni” is a live-acoustic album produced, played, arranged and composed by Damien Elisa. The tracks featuring are a backward-looking on Elisa’s pre-released tracks; Tracks which reflect his personal life and his career.

The high-toned contemporary aspect of Damien Elisa, through lyrics giving an exceptional airy mood upon listen and a significant weight upon apprehension; all which are embodied in a subtle piano manoeuver, with a rustic and brut touch, that makes the whole of ‘Piano Piéni’.

‘Piano Piéni’ depicts the journey of the artist through his experiences with music by first walking into the chords, as on ‘Mi Re La’. Damien Elisa also narrates different emotions lived, through the other tracks, during his life and musical odyssey.

This project has been made possible with the collaboration of the Conservatoire de Musique de François Mitterand (Quatre Bornes, MU) and tracks already on Elisa’s discography have been re-interpreted only by using a piano and the vocal of the latter.

“Piano Piéni” est un album live-acoustique produit, joué, arrangé et composé par Damien Elisa. Les morceaux présentés sont un panorama de titres déjà apparus dans les albums précédent de l’artiste jazz, mais aussi reflète sa vie personnelle et sa carrière. L’actuel aigu de Damien Elisa, à travers ses paroles qui, sont d’une légèreté exceptionnel à l’écoute et d’un poids immense à la compréhension; le tout accompagner de sa sublime manoeuvre au piano, avec une touche rustique et brut qui engendre le complet du ‘Piano Piéni’.

‘Piano Piéni’ reflète le parcours de l’artiste à travers ses expériences avec la musique en entrant avec les accords, comme sur “Mi Re La”. L’artiste dégage aussi les différentes émotions vécues par celui-ci durant son odyssée musicale et de sa vie.

Ce projet a été possible grâce l’aide du Conservatoire Francois Mitterrande (Quatre Bornes, MU) et les titres déjà apparu sur le parcours de Damien Elisa ont été réinterprétés en utilisant seulement un piano et la voix de celui-ci, un travail façonné avec simplicité.
